Bellydance. The myth come to life.
Bellydance combines sensuality and coordination, and requires concentration and discipline. Its origins stem from Egyptian folklore, classical and contemporary dance, and is characterised by moving the whole body while focusing on the belly and hips. It can be a spiritual practice if one achieves a state of trance, as it was once used as a fertility ritual.
Bellydance can improve self esteem as it reconnects you to your body, reminding you of parts of yourself which you may have forgotten.
